I am a grandmother planing a solo kayak expedition from Maine to Miami (and then joining some yachts to continue to Guatemala). The goal is to raise funds for www.safepassage.org, which helps the children who live in the Guatemala City garbage dump community. I'd love to have info on others who have paddled this route. I'm also looking for spots to camp along the way.
