Tsunami Ranger Eric Soares told me a couple months ago that he was going to be teaching a class on paddling in ocean rock gardens at the recently held Golden Gate Sea Kayaking Symposium (GGSKS), so I cooked up a little spoof for him about Giant Salt Water Crocodiles (Salties, as they're known down under), the very serious threat they now pose to paddlers in the SF Bay Area, and what GGSKS was doing to safeguard its little ducklings while they were at the symposium. Helen Wilson (Wellen Hilson in the spoof) liked it so much she posted it on her GreenlandOrBust web site. There you will see graphic proof of the reptilian menace, and also learn about BWAB, Croc-Spotting, the Wellen Possum Defense, and the controversial practice of Yak-Baiting. BTW - Eric's wife Nancy is featured as the "Croc-Spotter". Hope you mates enjoy it!
