It really seems odd how short the production life was on the Dagger Echo series of kayaks. I saw both the 12.0 and 14.0 at a demo, but they couldnt be paddled. It seems like they were only on the market for 3 or 4 months, then discontinued. Its a shame too, as they were nice looking kayaks. I think the reason they wouldnt sell was because they were outragesly overpriced. The echo 12 sold for 1300 dollars, and the 14 sold for 1500. Now, for maybe a more outfitted poly boat, this price would be reasonable, but on more basic models like these- thats a bit steep.

I mean, My Pamlico 140 with a rear bulkhead costs about 700 dollars, compared to the Echo 14.0 at 1500- more than twice.
