Hi Folks
My first post.
I'm thinking of purchasing a QCC Kayak, the Q700X. Does anyone have any opinions of this boat and the company?
Thank you.

A lot of the folks on paddling.net think very highly of them. they also have a boat reveiw forum that has a lot of good things to say about 700.

I have had a QCC700X for about a year now. It is blazingly fast. Workmanship is good but it did come with a slight leak at the hull/deck connection at the rudder. This finish was immaculate. This is nothing that a little epoxy did not fix. Too, I find that I would prefer if it were a bit drier in the fore and aft compartments. When practicing rolls and wet-exits and re-entry the boat takes on quite a bit of water in the "sealed" compartments. I was told by the QCC folks to place a piece of duct tape over the pin-holes of the bulkheads (placed there to allow you to open and close the hatches) when expecting to do a lot of submerging.

Perhaps related to the above wet-ness, I love the big hatches. Super easy to load and unload. Though there might be a trade-off between dry-ness and convenience, I spend a lot more time loading and unloading that I do practicing wet-exits. Ton-o-room to bring anything that you could possibly want while camping. The 700 may very well be the perfect long-trip expedition boat for most applications.

The boat handles really well and turns on a dime - especially considering the 18' waterline. Did I mention that this boat is super fast? Very fast.
