Good evening,

I am trying to find a sea or touring kayak for under 350 pounds
I am looking for something second hand and at beginner level as I am only just starting out in kayaking and only have a budget of around 500 in total,

Thanks

You are either going to have to get very lucky, or save a bit more money if you're talking about a suitable sea kayak. And unless you get really lucky and find a package deal, I hope you are allowing for some other things--like a good pfd, a paddle, or two, a spray skirt, some water shoes, maybe a wet/dry suit and various other items. Then there is the hauling issue. But good luck and be very careful when looking at used boats. Learn as much as you can about polyethylene, fiberglass, and thermoplastic and how to identify damage and warps. Go to paddling.net and read the reviews and all the other information offered.
