Welp, I did somthing stupid in record time...
I bought a new cetus MV this spring and was working on doing a few customizations to it. One of which was gluing (with a rubber cement) a piece of foam (12"x18"x1/16") under where my heels are in the kayak. I like to paddle bare-footed and this felt much better on the out-soles of my feet. However, my shoes have since rubbed through the foam padding and down to the hull....opps.
Im trying to get all the glue off the bottom of the boat and am wondering if anyone knows if goo-gone has any reactive effects on fiber glass. Ive got most of it off now, just a small area left after ive been scraping it with a plastic scraper, might need to sand it and re-gel it, unless someone (preferably the chief chemist from dow chemical

) can weigh in on this and tell me that goo-gone wont make the bottom of my boat gone.
Thanks!
(and yes, i know about heel-strip and am installing that)
