Guess you just can't keep a good woman down on the farm when she's paddled the deep blue sea. As Chris noted in his editorial, she's one brave woman; to which one could add strong, tenacious, creative, bright, funny, and a whole bunch of other superlatives.

Still, we humans have this penchant for raising the bar after every record-breaking jump, while the tireless forces of nature wait patiently in the wings for us to stumble. I often wonder how long folks can keep tempting fate in the high-stakes persuit of more and more difficult and challenging sponsored expeditions. Not forever, that's for certain; but for now we wait and watch and we'll see how it goes. Not a game for the faint of heart.
