How come most I have met have more than one Kayak? I have three now. I may buy another too. They start becoming like shirts. Different applications or we all need a Navy? I want to try a British or Greenland types next.

I only do one kind of paddling: daylong "exploration" paddling, 15 to 20 nautical mile trips. So I only need one kayak. And I don't have the endless supply of disposable income that seems to fuel so much consumption. But as the song "I Shot the Sheriff" said, "Every day the bucket goes to the well; one day the bottom will drop out".

I like to go out with the honey and explore. We are new but that is my favorite thing. Second is pushing myself for exercise and I like rough water but need more experience in my new Solstice. She has the hobie but I would like her to get something faster and easier to paddle to keep up easier with me.
