I have recommended a brace called Band-it for active use, however I would recommend additional evaluation by a competent chiropractor, PT or sports-med type doctor who can help with musculoskeletal issues. A brace alone is not adequate to deal with this condition. A stretching technique known as Active Release Technique or Myofascial Release is one of the best for ongoing self-treament. A general pre-paddle stretch routine is also recommended. An evaluation of your paddling techniques by a high level instructor will help iron out technical paddling faults.
Nothing is ever just easy, is it? I hope this reply is not too late for Kelley, and that others may take note as well. Tennis elbow is not just a minor condition...it can put an end to kayaking and other sports, not to mention actual careers!
