Hurricane Tested, Sea Kayaker Approved

As I am sure you are all aware, Hurricane Sandy rolled through the East Coast a couple weeks ago and caused quite a bit of damage.
We’ve been keeping in touch with our contacts and everyone seems to be back up and running, with the exception of one business. I spoke with Randy Henriksen from the New York Kayak company, who is located on Pier 40 in Manhattan. The neighborhood is still without power, although Randy has been able to get a generator and get his office open. It is safe to say that his retail walk-in traffic is not happening right now. However, his online store is up and running and we are encouraging people to visit his store and help him keep his business running while the city gets back on its feet.
