SK Team Paddler Update from Lumpy Waters

Friday morning at the 4th Annual Lumpy Waters Symposium began with breakfast. Instructors drifted in for coffee, food and conversation. Conditions are predicted to be up, with swell of 6 to 8 feet and winds at 10 to 15. Back up classroom venues are being discussed.
Friday rolling tune up at the pool with OSOM member and Alder Creek Instructor Jason Self.
Paul Kuthe, program manager for Alder Creek leads the instructors briefing for day one.
We are now headed out to spend some time with the Fear to Fun and Fun to Feedback Surf Classes both running at Pacific Beach. Afterword we will try to catch the second half of Steve and Cindy Scherrer teaching boat control in the quieter waters of the Nestucca river.
