Snap Dragon Design/Rich Wilson
Snap Dragon Design is proud to be more than a designer and manufacturer of kayak accessories. We are avid participants in the worldwide sport of kayaking. Our distinctive designs arise from personal experience as well as through feedback from our customers and team athletes. We seek to improve safety, performance and comfort with the latest construction features and materials.

We make our products in our shop just outside of Seattle, Washington. From patterning, cutting, sewing and taping we are a hands on company. Rich Wilson started the company in the early 1980’s in his basement, at a time when there was a lack of kayaking accessories to satisfy his own kayaking needs. Mr. Wilson still spends most of his day on the sewing machine, ensuring the quality Snap Dragon is renowned for.

Snap Dragon’s name serves as a tribute to the play wave that was on the Wenatchee River. The area was a favorite for many Northwest kayakers. Unfortunately high water washed away the wave in 1992.

In addition to providing top quality spray skirts and accessories, we stand behind our products with responsive support and delivery.

We cater to a wide variety of kayakers, from experts who push the limits in extremely challenging conditions to novices who enjoy exploring scenic waters. Our customers include Olympic athletes, world-class competitors, expedition leaders, outfitters, instructional programs and individual enthusiasts.

We share with you the pleasure of being part of an increasingly popular and exciting sport. http://www.snapdragondesign.com
